  1. Considering the number of line drives Soto has been robbed on this year, you figure he'd be due for that.
  2. Classy Brewer fans out there today cheering Derrek's injury.
  3. For those of us without TV for this game... hm? Z and Fontenot did the whack-a-mole thing, then added a step with Z giving Fontenot a piggyback ride. DeRo and Cedeno had a 20 step handshake going on in the background. Nice start, but Soriano needs to do a better job with that out of the box.
  4. Someone please tell me they got all of that on TiVo and can upload it onto the internets.

  6. Im not Fred, Im just tired of getting looked at as a Troll, because im not. Anyone not a Cubs fan on this site is a troll, all things considered. :D
  7. I'm excited about Samardzija and I think he can contribute to the Cubs this season as a middle reliever who can take some pressure off of Wood/Marmol. However, while I get the feeling he will do a good job as a reliever, I think the Cubs should definitely plan to use him as a starter down the line. He's still developing and his stuff needs some work, but I think he could make a very solid contribution to the rotation if he continues to develop as he has been.

  9. I think it's time to blow up the team. I don't mean trade everyone. I mean putting a well-placed brick of C4 in the clubhouse.
  10. Remember when Wood did that in Game 1 of the 2003 NLDS?
  11. I'm looking forward to seeing how many more runs the Marlins can score.
  12. Somehow, it figures that the defensively-challenged shortstop starts making tough plays look routine and easy against the Cubs.
  13. Gaudin can easily go another two innings if he has to do so.
  14. That scene is easily the best moment I've seen in a movie this year. It caused half the theater to jump and the other half to start applauding after a moment.
  15. I've never seen banana used as a verb, though.
  16. I'd IBB him and Theriot to get to Lee for the guaranteed GIDP.
  17. It was so terrible and so obvious that I couldn't pass it up.
