  1. It was at the very end of the play, after Lloyd scored the TD. McGowan knocked the punter over.
  2. How was there unnecessary roughness on that? Was he roughing the kicker? Edit: nm, he laid into the kicker after Lloyd scored the TD.
  3. I want Seinfeld and Gates to put an end to these commercials. They are horrific.
  4. Huh? What? You say that they could have just decided this two or three days ago because pretty much everyone knew Ike was going to drill Houston and in all likelihood the city wasn't going to be in any condition to host a couple of baseball games today and Monday, and that you don't know what the heck you are talking about? Shocking. Please explain how anyone whatsoever has been prejudiced by this decision or its timing. I'll wait for your response. Anyone who went to Houston thinking the Cubs and Astros would get the games in, for starters.
  5. I like his chemistry with Len Kasper. He's grown on me over time.
  6. Glad to see this is going to be another infuriating season for the Badgers. That was a tough win, but I'm not happy with how this team stacks up with other teams in the BCS hunt.
  7. Review that crap; he was in the end zone when he recovered it.
  8. It'll come down to FSU's kicker. I can feel it.
  9. Holy crap this team can't tackle worth a damn.
  10. I'm glad this is a down year in the Big 10. This Wisconsin team is not particularly impressive, but they don't look much worse than anyone else in the conference.
  11. Nah, the Badgers will blow it in such a way that the fumble call/no-call becomes a non-issue. I'm predicting they lose by 11. Yeah but we all know that wont stop the badger fans from crying about it. As an alum, I can guarantee you people are going to be pissed off about a lot more than just that call. The Badgers have had some really good teams over the years, but they're always getting killed because of bad QBing, unoriginal play-calling, and defenses that just tire out and become ineffective late in games and late in the season. The bad call will get complaints, but there will be much more anguish over other issues with this team. Lol, sorry, i assumed you were an illinois fan. which is a pretty bad insult isnt it? i apologize. Nah, it's fine. I go to law school at Illinois, but refuse to convert. :D
  12. Go for it, you tools!
  13. Aw crap, Evridge just went down.

  15. I'd like to thank the Fresno State kicker for not being good enough to get a football scholarship from a real school.

  17. And defensive players who can tackle. That would be nice.
  18. It'd be nice if the Badgers had a passable QB, too.
  19. What drives me nuts is that I know the Badgers are going to play this game tight and close. Bielema's just as happy to get a field goal as he is to get a touchdown.
  20. Urge to kill...rising...
  21. I wouldn't quite go that far, but the call was atrocious.
  22. The refs would like to dispute that. [expletive].
  23. My guesses: Vitters in the top 40. Samardzija in the top 75. Ceda in the top 100. Don't think Cashner, Jackson or Castillo will make it. Colvin might have a chance since BA loves him but I don't think so. I'm guessing Cashner makes it over Ceda.
  24. Oh joy, I can hardly wait for this windbag to give us his thoughts. Al Yellon is the polar opposite of the massively depressed crew that frequents game threads. He's optimistic to the point of being unbelievably grating.
  25. Supply and demand. Minor league tickets cost more than $10. Really? I got front row seats next to scouts for $8 at Rancho Cucamonga. That's how much it costs for tickets to sit in the outfield grass in the Texas League. They are usually around $18. Don't even get the option for front row, although last week Nolan Ryan was sitting right in front of me in the front row. I guess that's why. $10 for seats in Peoria. $5 on half price day. :D
