  1. As mentioned elsewhere, putting together this list from 11-20 was entertaining. The Cubs have a really fun mix of guys right now who fit whatever your prospect needs may fancy, whether it's low ceiling/low floor types like Bateman and Vazquez, lottery tickets like Cruz and Valdez, fallen stars who could rebound (?) like Davis and Hernandez, and weirdass profile guys who could break the mold like Ramirez and Aliendo, and that's just hitters! If we omit PCA and Canario due to graduations and did this today, I'd probably nudge Davis and Murray onto my list, drop Sanders in favor of Birdsell, and tinker with spots 8-20.

  3. Great, then hope one of our competitors in the NL Central picks him up and he tanks their season.
  4. What the heck is it about these forums that seems to attract malfunctioning robots...
  5. 1-10 for me was fairly straightforward; only one big change, but mostly the same guys who've been there for me since last year's draft. It was really fun putting 11-20 together and trying to find a way to cram roughly 20 guys into those slots. It was even more fun because those 20 guys all had legitimate arguments for being in that grouping, and weren't just names pulled out of a hat.
  6. @Brock Beauchamp It's still early going, but can you please add Marino Santy, Juan Bello, and Alfonsin Rosario? I have a feeling we'll see them on more and more lists as the season progresses.
  7. If Mo can stick at catcher, he will have a really, really good case to be the #1 prospect in this system and a Top 10 prospect in MLB. That bat is almost otherworldly.
  8. Just move Brown to the pen and IL Addy after Steele or Hendricks comes back (whichever happens first).
  9. It's decidedly refreshing seeing both our domestic and international scouting pulling through this season in the minors.
  10. Those of us who remember the 2016 playoffs know full well how most of the vets went completely off the rails with their doom boners. Cripes, I'm pretty sure I banned imb because he was pissing me off right around Game 5 of the World Series. He got reinstated once cooler heads prevailed. So yeah, it helps knowing we all need a day after losses like this one.
  11. It feels like there are three teams that are fully capable of ending an extra innings game with a triple play. The fun part is, two of them are playing each other right now.
  12. It's possible they're talking out of both sides of their mouths with this one. If the new stadium is built in Chicago and is government-owned, the Bears won't have to worry about fluctuating real estate taxes and can likely exert enough control over concessions, ticket sales, etc. to make it more profitable than if the Bears built in AH. They also got Brandon Johnson to stake his political career on the damn thing, so that at least creates leverage both with Chicago and with AH. I still think this ends with a new stadium going up in AH, but who the hell knows at this point?
  13. Correct. And also, to an extent, JJ. I mean, if you're going to be wrong, do it with gusto.
  14. Credit where it's due, the Vikings aren't shy about trading up to get who they want.
  15. Vikes traded up for JJ, bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
  16. There are bad picks here, but there are no realistically bad picks here.
  17. Daniels will be fun to watch for six games before he breaks in half.
