  1. Eric Gregg makes a special guest appearance! STRIKE THREE!!!!! CUBS WIN THE NL EAST!!
  2. i've noticed. i liked him as a potential offensive 2B when he was drafted but it really seemed like he took a huge step backward last year, especially in the erosion of his plate discipline. it's nice to see him get off to a good start, hitting for power and showing some patience. hopefully he can keep it up. Considering he was skipped up to Daytona last year, I think people were a bit too harsh in evaluating him. Yeah, if he was a really good prospect, the jump wouldn't have hurt him so much. But, at the same time, it was his first time in full season ball facing more advanced pitching than he saw in Boise or college. If he can finish the year showcasing better plate discipline, he'll vault himself back into the Cubs' Top 10.
  3. I really hope Gregg gets his head back on straight by tomorrow. The Wrigley faithful are going to go nuts if he struggles.

  5. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!
  6. The Weeks homer I'll give you, but Kouske should have had that. That would have been over his head regardless.
  7. I think we banned him when he was posting under the Yanr screen name.
  8. Even with his weak arm, he made it pretty close. McGehee's got catcher speed. I didn't think it was all that close, but for some reason I thought McGehee had decent speed. My bad. *Shrug* No big deal.
  9. Even with his weak arm, he made it pretty close. McGehee's got catcher speed.
  10. Honestly, after that Prince near-GS, I'll be happy getting out of this inning with only two runs scoring.
  11. There's the bad defensive play Braun owed us!
  12. That was a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic outing.
