Pretty sure Kyle Schwarber is going to be the first player to hit baseballs into two separate Great Lakes in one World Series.

One thing to keep in mind about Cameron is he's a numbers guy and a really good one, but he's not a scout. Read what Sickels has written about Schwarbs. Look at what FanGraphs own Eric Longenhagen has said about him. There are scouts that have put a FV 70 grade on his hit and power. And above all else look at how much the Cubs front office absolutely loves this kid, and honestly that's enough for me. If Theo et al believes Schwarber is worth not trading for Andrew Miller that says a lot and they have more information on him as a player and a person than any scout could possibly have.

I am so horsefeathering pumped for this. Imagine what everyone in that clubhouse feels like knowing that the lord of soul crushing dongs is back in the lineup.

That's what I'm hoping happens. I don't believe in lineup construction but I believe in being comfortable and Bryant has been really good there. Hopefully it's just Schwarbs getting a bit too amped up when talking to buddies.

from your insider buddy? Yeah there are a couple IU guys at the AFL game right now and that's what Schwarber has been told. Of course the lineup part could completely change but that's what he's telling his buddies. And I say that just because hasn't Joe been pretty adamant about how much he likes Bryant hitting 2nd?

So I just got a text that Schwarber will be hitting 2nd and DH'ing tomorrow.

Ugh another half inning where Schwarbs ends up on deck. How are we going to ever going to be able to determine if he's still an elite RBI guy?

I'm certain he is...live BP, tee work and soft toss can't replicate game action, but he's not tentative or anything. Hands are quick but his leg kick and hand load are just a bit off just looking at those side shots. Whatever, if you're facing him you have to respect the dong whereas with Seal Boy there's an equal chance he would quit mid-at bat to head to the Jersey Shore or hit a flair single.

I hope when he hits a beautiful massive dong in his first AB he hits home plate, packs his horsefeathers and heads to Skyharbor for his flight to Cleveland. Doesn't even round the bases, just bat flips and walks to the dugout. This is my new hope.
