    The infield fly protects with multiple runners on because they cannot run, the rule does not protect from a batter being dumb.

    O's fans were beyond annoying in my section today and I even thanked them for Jake. That team never ever had that kind of support when I lived in the DC area so I am suspect. It just reminds me how awful it's gonna be when the Cubs start winning and d-bags jack up prices even further. Seeing a JavyBomb in person was a delight. Reading that game thread of theirs is gonna make it that much sweeter when they get swept in the ALDS.

    And this is why I hate Mets fans and that stupid organization. I can't wait until their prospects all blow out their arms and they have to trade Harvey because they employ and idiot manager that can't stop blasting him in the media.

    By who? Awful Announcing ranks them pretty low. Fangraphs had them ranked really high. Ya and they weren't as low as I thought on Awful Announcing, so I agree. Hernandez is actually painful to listen to because he goes full meatball most of the time and he's not even entertaining about it like when John Kruk goes full meatball. For example, the one time out of 20 that a batter beats the shift on a ground ball he will go on some crazy rant about how stupid it is and then ignore the other 19 times its effective. I guess you get idiot broadcasting when you have an idiot organization. EDIT: Christ Awful Announcing actually has them ahead of Len and JD. I'm not even being biased here but that is a joke. I find it very entertaining that their tone suggests they are actually Yankees announcers, since they are so condescending about weak organizations like the Cubs. They do not seem to understand what the Mets are all about. The Mets are still building around young starting pitching because pitchers never break and usually hit their ceilings. Hernandez is a buffoon and I hate the sound of his voice. Seinfeld is the only thing I like about him. PS - My hatred for the Mets runs deep and I have no idea why that is, but I can't stand anything about them.
