  1. Geoff Young over at the Hardball Times posted an article today called "Yes, but it's an empty .300" regarding some of the emptiest batting averages in MLB history. Pretty interesting read overall, but scroll down to the bottom and take a peek at the lifetime achievement award section. Here's an excerpt:
  2. http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?content_id=6290955 Ahhhhhh, that wasn't very choreographed... but it was still pretty cool. Didn't realize it was last month. He does get some serious air, though. Impressive I didn't think it was that bad, either. He got some serious air. Thank God Fielder didn't try that. Shock waves would have caused California to break loose. But then, his teammates would have actually fell down and it wouldn't have been considered choreographed anymore.
  3. That was awesome.
  4. Bahaha, that play was ugly/hilarious.
  5. Urlacher looks so funny out of pads. His neck is bigger than his face.
  6. And yeah, I have to agree with TT here. It's really, really scary the way Hendry has handled this situation.
  7. Are the bears aware they have a running back? Granted, that situation required some passes - but still.
  8. You can't really hit a walkoff on the road, so... Bahaha.
  9. Mine says "/bridge," is that a problem?
  10. Please don't.....in any capacity. Hoping you realize that, that entire post was sarcasm.
  11. Well, the chances are still really slim - but being that we are only 4 out in the loss column to the Rockies in the wildcard; I suppose it's worth throwing one of these up. Here are the games we care about: Florida @ St. Louis 1:15 PM CDT J. Johnson v. J. Pinero New York @ Atlanta 6 PM CDT Parnell v. Lowe Colorado @ San Fran 9:15 CDT De La Rosa v. Cain GO CARDS (eww), Mets (ewww), and Giants! :clapping:
  12. Shhh. We're cubs fans. What do you expect? If both us and the giants win tonight - things could get interesting.
  13. LETS GO THIS? Just do with it. :-)) Very nice. That said - GO CUBS (and Cardinals, Mets, and Giants)
  14. So.. I didn't even realize it but my boss mentioned last night that we're only 5 and a half out now.. This is the first time I've looked at this page in a little while but...I might actually be starting to get kinda hopeful. This can't be good. Only 4 out in the loss column and BP has our playoff odds all the way up to about 2.5% For reference, about a week ago we were at <1% Oh, and just for kicks and giggles...we're down to 8.5 back in the division as well (though it's 7 in the loss column).
  15. Switched over to affinity and i like it a little better than nexus already. Once the menu gets straightened out it might be a keeper.
  16. Yeah, I've had to log in a lot more often too and i'm using the domain name.
  17. Ouch. Urlacher is out for the season? That blows.
  18. Well. I'm out. Ugly game, fellas, but it was a hell of a game.
  19. Wow. Just....wow. That was a FUGLY game.
