  1. So, What is the latest on Kerry? Did he have an x-ray, mri, something? I heard last night it was just "stiffness" in the shoulder. Was he taken out as a precaution Will he make his next start? I know its alot of questions, which may not have answers. But I'm lazy and dont feel like searching.
  2. You're surprised that we want a great pitcher the day after one of out big three goes down? I understand what you mean, burnett gets injured. But....so? Should we dump prior because he's been injured in the past.
  3. Eh, I'd like to pick up burnett. But no no on lowell. Maybe we could add a third team, like the pirates. Didnt they want lowell? or maybe SD.
  4. Holy Bajeezus. Fourty Pages? It was only 31-ish when I went to bed. Is there anything new? or just more biccering.
  5. Z. Not even close, IMO.
  6. I would just like to point out that I am an idiot for letting him get to me.
  7. I dont want Dunn, I told yall he makes patterson look like tony gwynn. Tell us what his .900 OPS means, good sir? It means I DONT GIVE A DAMN HE STRIKES OUT TOO MUCH! Strikeouts > Groundouts Groundouts turn into double plays. Also, this is a swearfree enviroment. Or at least, we try to make it that way.
  8. Well I have not gotten up from this computer chair in hours. I am going to go lay down, and watch kerry suck. later guys and gals.
  9. I dont want Dunn, I told yall he makes patterson look like tony gwynn. Tell us what his .900 OPS means, good sir?
  10. Well, I'm gonna have to wait untill i get home from work to figure out..... Wait, No, I get a break! Guess who's running home on his break! haha. Wow, if this turns out to be a load of horse pucky, i'm gonna be devastated. :x
  11. Vance, tomorrow nights a school night. You're drunk every school night. Its summer, buddy.
  12. Haha. He's got your hopes up so high it's not even funny Roast. :D My hopes are way up there too. I know. I mean, I KNOW not to beleive him. I know. And I dont, really. But my hopes are sky high right now.
  13. Well, if it is indeed true what he says. Its on par with what some of us have thought. That is, that they are waiting till the series is over. This, if nothing else, is definatley interesting. Problem is, I'll be at work from the time the game ends tomorrow, untill fairly late. SIgh.
  14. Because he got people to talk about the Cubs possibly trading for Dunn? Takes a lot of skill to do that around here. :mamoru: And why does everyone think todays game is an end-all. He said today or TOMORROW. Im not backign up his post. but for crying out loud, this doesnt end it.
  15. Yeah, that's a real problem for a message board, especially seeing how the guys with thousands of posts are always so chock-full of information and valuable insights.  I mean, I never get tired of hearing about posters next exam, or how their golf game went, that's always gold Jerry, gold!!! Lighten up.
  16. 1 Jody Gerut, RF Ryan Freel, 2B 2 Todd Walker, 2B Felipe Lopez, SS 3 Derrek Lee, 1B Sean Casey, 1B 4 Jeromy Burnitz, CF Ken Griffey Jr., CF 5 Aramis Ramirez, 3B Joe Randa, 3B 6 Todd Hollandsworth, LF Adam Dunn, LF 7 Neifi Perez, SS Jacob Cruz, RF 8 Michael Barrett, C Javier Valentin, C 9 Kerry Wood, P Aaron Harang, P He's in the lineup folks.
  17. Yea. If the trade does happen ( I still consider this thread bunk, btw. But things that have happened have made it intersting) it'll probably happen after the game tomorrow.
  18. actually, yea. The reds have already spun their wheels today, Bringing up Kearns and Freel. And there are also reports dunn may sit tonight. I still dont beleive it though.
  19. Exactly. If he sits, he's being traded. Its as simple as that. With wood pitching, they wont sit him for gits and shiggles. It'll be interesting.
  20. To my knowledge, this isn't what they're suggesting anyway. They're just seeing if the Reds hold Dunn out of their lineup... I have to admit it will be interesting to see if he plays tonight!!! If he sits then he's getting traded period. Dunn has killed wood in his career. This is from cbssportsline. http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/preview/MLB_20050720_CHC@CIN
