    It's addressed by silence. Since the game is official and it does not fit into one of the situations resulting in a suspended game, it is considered completed.They better stay here or i'm going to be ALL kinds of pissed.

    Also, something i didnt know: If a game is suspended before it becomes a regulation game, and is continued prior to another regularly scheduled game, the regularly scheduled game with be limited to seven innings. yea, that isn't true. I took it right off MLB.com.

    I think MLB intentionally tries to word the rulebook as confusing as possible.

    Suspended? huh? new MLB rule, implicated this season I'm sure they'll finish this off tonight though. I know about the new rule, but I'm not sure how it applies to this situation? does it have something to do with the fact that they had the tying run up?

    Wait so Wood can't come in because it's a 3 run game, and now that the guy pitching INSTEAD of Wood gives up a run, that somehow validates your argument? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: That's [expletive]. No you said a 3-run lead with the cards lineup is safe. Do you still feel that way? to be fair, the cardinals lineup is nothign special (save pujols). And obviously, Howry did no better against him than wood could have done.

    Wood hasn't looked all the great and this is a pivotal game. We've got a 3 run lead. He needs to work his kinks out so he can be a valuable part of the pen coming down the stretch. You say that like a 3 run lead is safe? not entirely, but we're facing a horrible lineup (save pujols) and it's STILL a 3 run lead. You're acting like its a tie game against the '27 yankees. And Pujols is due up second this inning Okay, but even if wood lets the first guy get on, and pujols goes deep, we're still winning. .. .. .. besides, Howry didn't do such a great job of getting him out.

    To be fair, Molina is on a whole other level than the vast majority of ML catchers. True, but the fact remains. I honestly dont know if Kendall could have thrown fontenot out there.
