  1. Dempster didnt throw away that last game. He went 0-2/1-2 on every batter. he gave up a double (groundball, i believe) that just happened to sneak past lee down the line. Then he gave up yet another groundball that Lee bobbled (should have been the double play), then he gave up yet ANOTHER ground ball that found a hole in the infield. Then he just made a bad pitch and paid for it with a wind-blown home run. Dempster pitched well. if anything; it should have been a 2 run jack and not a 3. But one could say that maybe the infielders would have been in different positions if the bases were clear (had lee been able to turn the dp). I get so sick of people blaming that game on dempster. /soapbox
  2. Dempster out of the inning on 5 pitches? Freakin awesome.
  3. Excuse me, sir. There's a line you crossed, oh, about a mile back.
  4. This just in; giving the other team outs a bad idea. More at 10.
  5. I can do that for 136 million.
  6. I'd walk sori and go after the riot if i were them.
  7. What's our record in EI's? Something redonkulous like 1-7.
  8. So, lets score here. I dont like extra innings with this team.
  9. walking people in front of soriano? Uh...okay. I understand it sets up the dp, but still.
  10. Hahaha, ohhh cubbbies. How i hate you.
  11. Oh, the hop definitely needs to go. I'm surprised the Cubs haven't stopped him from doing it. I don't even understand why he does it. It's just stupid. According to Pat Hughes (I think that's who i heard say it), Soriano says that, being a natural infielder, he has always been taught to keep his feet moving while he catches the ball. That habit he learned in the infield has turned into that ridiculous hop, he says. I still think it's dumb.
  12. Woooo; last place, baby! Let me just say: Screw you, Drew Brees. NEGATIVE points? wtf Screw you, Deuce. 2 points? Jerk. Screw you, Baltimore. Do you realize the GREEN FUGGIN BAY defense outscored you? Screw you, Chicago Bears. You couldnt even get in FG position more than once? Screw you, RoastTheD---Goat. For benching Eli Manning and his 312yd 4TD performance in lieu of Drew Freaking Brees.
  13. Marquis in the juicebox vs. Cy Backe. Oh this game will be fun.
  14. if I was the cubs manager, a cardinal would get plunked next inning Did something else happen in the game? It just looked like an unintentional HBP to me. Yeah; thats the second one of the game.
  15. Uhm? WTF we've got other players we can use, there, lou.
  16. So, i vote we hit somebody next inning. hard.
  17. Well...Taguchi got lilly back....
  18. f-apostrophe-n I Dropped The Soap! [expletive] 'tis true.
  19. Okay; inning over. Lets get three outs then let it rain.
  20. So; its getting dark at wrigley, they need to finish this inning and get through the top half of the fifth. fast.
  21. what? he's a card fan. So that allows him to outwardly cheer for the Cards in a Cubs game thread? As long as he's not a Green Bay Packer fan or a bandwagon LDT fan, I don't have a problem with it. :D HEY! I'm not a bandwagon LDT fan. But because of LDT I am a bandwagon chargers fan. anyway; WALK!
  22. what? he's a card fan. So that allows him to outwardly cheer for the Cards in a Cubs game thread? Uh, yes?
  23. what? He is a fan of the team which we are currently playing.
