    by "share the time" i assume you mean in the same way that Ward shares the time with Lee at first. Pie's stats vs. righties aren't much different from Johnson's. Pie is faster, has a better arm, and can play about as good of defense as Johnson does. I don't see the harm in playing Pie vs. righties if you want to get Pie going at all. He's not saying that Pie shouldn't, he's saying that Pie won't get playing time. Its funny that the revolving door has moved from C to CF and yet the solution, just like last year, is in AAA. Exactly. Pie SHOULD play. He just probably wont.
