Could it be that Brett Jackson is being used as a chip to try to bring a better return for Dempster or Garza? Wouldn't mind it at all if we could get a good pitcher back in return. I've lost almost all hope in Jackson. What? I don't expect Jackson to be very much in the majors. His strikeout rate is very alarming. If we could put him in a deal with Dempster or Garza and get a top starting pitching prospect in return, I would be 100% on board with it.

Holy [expletive]. Good or bad? Vizcaino is 21, recovering from Tommy John surgery and hasn't pitched even 100 innings in any of his previous 4 seasons in the minors. Angel Guzman part 2? doesn't matter. this is trade rape. It's Reed Johnson who all of you complained about for signing in January and Paul Maholm for a guy with unbelievable upside. I could easily see him becoming the closer of the future if he pans out. Great deal.
