  1. ROFL. Are you real? Nate's played great for us. But settle down. Rose isn't giving you 20 points a game for the playoffs. I think that's where Nate is at.
  2. Nate is not too quick for LeBron. Rose wasn't, Nate's not.
  3. And getting more than what Nate is giving you is going to be nearly impossible
  4. Not replacing Nate. Nate at SG, Rose at PG, Jimmy at SF late in games.
  5. umm you have to be joking Um no. Rose has seen no gametime , let alone playoff games in 12 months. Robinson is one of the hottest scorers right now. Rose can't get into game form right away. You could have him replacing Teague's minutes. Please tell me how that would hurt the team. It wouldn't at all. It's the perfect scenario. All I'm saying is that I think LeBron will probably be on Nate because Nate is better right now.

  7. Thibs has overplayed guys, but the team does have somewhat a history, at least from the front office side, of pushing minutes limits (Pax vs Vinny). I think the Bulls would put Rose on a strict minute cap, even if there was an OT. Maybe Rose realizes Thibs does exhaust players and didn't want to have to tell him no and sit out in key moments. But that's why you play the last three weeks of the season and build your minutes up. Or maybe Rose is just mentally weak.
  8. Nate is more dangerous than Rose right now I bet
  9. If Nate and Rose are in at the end, LeBron guards Nate right? That gives Rose a good matchup. If LeBron guards Rose, I don't mind that. Keeps the best defender in the league off of the best closer running.
  10. Not unless Rose hurts himself or he throws the offense out of sync. The Bulls have a better chance to win the series with Rose and that's all that matters.
  11. Watch him blow his knee out again
  12. Rose could dress but not play on Friday I just heard on the Score. Why?
  13. That's a popular trope amongst Bulls fans. It's also incorrect. 2013 NBA Luxury Tax - $70,300,000 2013 Chicago Bulls Salary # - $74,201,011 http://www.blogabull.com/2013/2/21/4014614/chicago-bulls-trade-deadline-bulls-make-no-moves-will-pay-luxury-tax Shout out to knowing things. Ok you're right. But as far as getting a big name player not on the roster right now I think Reinsdorf made his intentions clear.
  14. That's why Reinsdorf hasn't gone into the luxury tax. I think he would have signed Dwight if Dwight wanted to come to Chicago. He's waiting for the right guy which is hard to blame. I can't blame him.
  15. Over the top means a player that gets them a championship. Nate doesn't do that. If the player or deal comes along that would, I think Reinsdorf would go into luxury tax territory. But he's not spending that to lose to the Heat. Doesn't get them a championship? With Rose and Thibs they already have a shot at the title. The goal every year should be to build the best possible team to contend using every possible resource available. If that means Nate Robinson, or some other player, so be it. Reinsdorf wants a player that makes the Bulls favorites to win a title. They haven't been favorites since Jordan.

  17. It's exactly what I'm talking about.
  18. Considering Asik was one of the top 5 centers in the NBA this year, you're getting in way over your head trying to prove an ignorant point. I'm not saying he's not good. Not $15 mil good on this team with limited minutes. He's not worth it to me when you would have had to say no to more important players. The Bulls already were great at low post D and rebounding with or without Asik.
  19. You don't sign a backup center for $15 mil a year. Who would the Bulls have been without for Asik's 20 minutes a game?
  20. Nope. The team is better because they spent that $ better. I really didn't see the defense taking a big hit without Asik this year.
  21. My point is that Asik was not worth $15 million to the Bulls. Nate won't be worth whatever he will get to the Bulls when you have a better version than Nate in Rose.
  22. Nate is one of the best backup point guards in the NBA. Asik was the best backup center and looked good when Noah was out, but don't overrate the value of a backup when he gets extra minutes. And Asik went on to Houston and excelled in a starters role as well. I really don't get your point. Some people look better when they start, but don't overvalue and overpay people if they aren't starting for you next year.
  23. Nate is one of the best backup point guards in the NBA. Asik was the best backup center and looked good when Noah was out, but don't overrate the value of a backup when he gets extra minutes. Yes Nate does things no one else on the team can do, but that's why you find someone else this summer.
  24. Robinson won't be important when Rose gets back. They won't need his scoring too much. He seems to really love this team and the city from the news conference last night, but others have and left. If he's too expensive, not a huge loss. Just wait until the 'Crap what is Nate doing game.' It will come.
