    IIRC Happ is among the fastest guys on the team. Probably but Gore has legitimate 80 speed. I assumed they'd use him to run even for guys like Happ and Contreras in certain spots. But who cares anymore

    After the replay from the first base angle, I don't think Murphy saw that ball at the end. I'm less mad at him now. But damn that Schwarber throw to the plate

    I was trying to pretend the loss of Darvish isn't that big of a deal because having Quintana as the #4 starter sounds good. In reality though, the 2018 version of him continues to disappoint. This lineup is going to be pretty gnarly though

    Giving up almost literally nothing to get Hamels, Chavez, and Murphy is one way to make up for that disaster of an offseason

    You know, Murphy has been so bad at 2B, I do wonder if the Cubs will opt to put him at a corner. Joe seemingly prefers to play La Stella and Happ (when he's played infield this year) at 3B, so I wouldn't totally rule that out for Murphy even with Bryant back. Might also depend on if they view a certain position as being safer for KBs shoulder
