I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. A) Bulls fans say Denver would be stupid to hold onto Melo and lose him for nothing B) Bulls fans do not want to give up Noah for Melo C) Melo gets traded to Knicks for a mediocre return that we could have bettered without trading Noah Result: Bulls fans shouldn't get upset? What package do the Bulls have that could better what the Knicks are offering? What is NY's offer again? Wilson Chandler and at least 1 draft pick seem to be the only constants. Curry's expiring deal, Anthony Randolph, an additional draft pick, or the T-Wolves draft pick(in lieu of the Knicks) have been bandied about as additions.

I'm starting to come around that we're in at 9-9 with 1 win in the Big Ten tourney. Not that this is a remotely acceptable season, but the bubble is so bad this year, that we should be fine.

Because Bulls fans have been arguing in this thread for the past 6 months that Denver better trade Melo because otherwise they'll lose him for nothing. So when they trade him for better garbage than the Bulls offered, they're gonna be upset?

This really could make some sense. If he's weakened, his athleticism is going to be lessened, and avoiding contact on his drives would be far more difficult. In turn, I have him with 40.8% from the field during this time which would make sense because he's having his shots more heavily contested if he can't avoid the contact (and obviously general weakness altering his normal shot.

Which one you talking about? I think you use a timeout both times. He clearly called over Cartwright during the play to tell him something at the end of regulation. You have 3 friggin timeouts and it's a tie game, what's the harm in drawing it up during a timeout? And I have no idea why Cartwright is taking the 2 last minute shots rather than Gatens or May.

i don't think atlanta will finish ahead of orlando i think the hawks will finish 5th with the bulls and magic battling it out for 3rd i'm still worried about the knicks getting melo and then having to face them in the first round. This Melo to the Knicks thing. What can the Knicks give the Nuggets that would even come close to compensating for Melo? Denver's going to get snowjobbed on that deal, big time. I just hope nobody comes on here whining about Melo being given away after trying to trade Deng, Scalabrine and Bogans for him all season.

Fun with Pomeroy: Going strictly off his rankings, the tourney field features: USC as a 12-11 at-large while a 16-7 UCLA gets left out. No Butler, no Gonzaga. Belmont as a 9 seed. 10 Big East teams, but no 1 seeds, and only 2 top 3s 8 loss Illinois a 4 seed. 4 loss Notre Dame a 6 seed (Same as 5 loss George Mason) Northwestern in the tournament.
