I'm glad that's settled. Last year the 49er's defense ranked 2nd in PPG with 14.3 PPG, the Bears 14th @ 21.3 PPG. No major additions or subtractions for either team, so yeah, I'd say that's fairly accurate, especially with the question marks regarding Urlacher.
A 93 QB rating against the best defense in football is "awfully mortal"? He's going to shread the Bears. I'm thinking we can outscore their awful defense though.
Wasting timeouts in the redzone is no big deal? The Bears offense has been wasting timeouts in the red zone home and away in the Lovie era because they have been a poorly coached/organized/disciplined unit. The coaching staff obviously doesn't value time outs and doesn't mind using them in the 1st and 3rd quarter, so it's going to happen. Don't blame the fans for the Bears shortcomings. I can't think of a single other home team's fanbase that can't grasp the concept of being quite, when your home team has the football. At Lambeua it's dead silent when the Pack have the ball. It's really ashame that this lucky sperm club of season ticket holders managed to inherit their tickets.
Bernstein is an idiot for making that a topic. Why? The fact that our dumbass fanbase can't get it in their head to shut up while we are on offense is a pretty big, frustrating, deal. It's not a big deal at all and it's really stupid that people waste time talking about it as some sort of issue. Wasting timeouts in the redzone is no big deal?

You spelled ridiculous wrong. I said, it's a possiblity he will never play football again. Possiblity. That's two years in a row of season ending injuries. If you think it's a given that he comes back for sure, you are the one being ridiculous.
Outside of Jeffrey being a stud, I'm not feeling this draft either. IMO, it's a minor dissapointment when a 6th rounder can't even make a roster the first year. Yeah you're not expecting him to be a probowler, but a depth guy that can contribute.
I doubt they would use this rule on Brandon Hardin. You save it in case a stud like Cutler, Marshall, Peppers, Urlacher, Briggs gets hurt and is going to miss 5-6 games, but not the entire season.
