    Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Brewers will sign shortstop Alex Gonzalez. Terms of the contract aren't yet known. Gonzalez, 34, batted .241/.270/.372 with 15 home runs and 56 RBI over 593 plate appearances this past season for the Braves. While he's a much better fielder than Yuniesky Betancourt, they are pretty much a wash offensively. ninja'd

    By the time anyone noticed how good he's been, it was too late to jump past the entrenched folks on most ballots, I think. I'm not sure who you'd bump out of the existing 5 to make room for him either, though. If I had a vote I'd pick RG3. How about Honey Badger? he obviously wouldn't care
