1. wow that is a great response TREYMON and I don't even know what that means. I ask a serious question and I get a smart ass response... quick clever come-back: BITE ME! Others: thanks...I actually have Kaplan on a professional network and asked him by chance if he knew, and nothing... Thanks!
2. beats a solid red, pink or green hat insert your holiday or promotion
3. any of you photoshop'ers... I love the NY mets hat that is black with a blue bill..and the logo.. thought the Cubs could have a Black Hat / Cubs Blue Bill and the Red C ... sweet
4. I dont like the idea of a jumbo-tron at Wrigley myself.. when I mentioned it could be retractable, the point of that was to say here is a jumbo-tron during batting practice and before the game and advertise to the fans at the ballpark in some way but when game started. then drop it down...not a real good plan...but how many times do you get to see a jumbo-tron advertisement DURING the game ? so that was the reason I suggested that concept.... could be raised for the 7th inning stretch and sing along with Harry ... ( CAUSE I HATE THE GUEST CONDUCTORS )....
5. I always thought they could put two screens on either side of the scoreboard. if that blocked the roof tops then why could we not have one GIANT jumbo-tron on top of the scoreboard... make it retractable and have it up during batting practice and lowered during the game if you want. or retract it after the game and have it up all the time...
6. Bud Selig and his stupid world series winner gets home field advantage Baseball needs to stop that And get a salary cap And shorten the season 10 games But world series affected by all star game Please
7. duh...thanks!
8. Did anyone see the slow reply..? His single bounce out of the batters box in foul territory then went up the line.. is that not a foul ball? I had it recorded and watched it again...whats the deal?
9. did the tour last week on TUESDAY, then drove to Milwaukee and saw the Cubs..then on THURS I was in St.Louis and did the tour of New Busch... the Wrigley Tour is great..we also got to walk in the locker room, just in the front but to see all the jerseys hanging was great! Now my ADVICE is to bring a small container..and scoop some infield gravel and pull a few blades of WRIGLEY grass. hush hush... I will say that as a Cubs Fan..I am so jealous of Busch stadium it is incredible...obviously as it is only 4 years old..I would love the Cubs to keep the bleachers and re-do the grandstands with that triangular building we heard about someday..the players need more room and more facility ... REGARDLESS... Drink from the dugout fountain, do a curtain call from the dugout and call on the bullpen phone and ENJOY!
10. LOOK I am older than Bartman. So I was more upset that he was at the game vs. me 1. How did he those seats and not me? 2. If I was sitting there, I would have the ball and Alou's glove. 3. Alex booted a double play.
11. A lot of athletes claim they want to win. I read that if he is traded, his option for next year kicks in. I would think he would welcome a trade to a contender and get a chance at a ring. I dont want to hear from his agent about he took less money to be here. 75 MILLION and he will get MORE. Allow to be traded and let's gut this team.
12. he may like the Cubs but the Kenny Williams, "I steal all the Cubs wants...like Peavy, Church"...is going to land Dunn.. which is fine, but WTF is Ricketts doing...during Wrigley into Disneyland...a place where you MUST see a game.. vs. creating a winning product.... I cant stand the Cubs direction...the organization is a joke yet again...
13. to me this means several things.. 1. behind the scenes, quietly Girardi was not interested in the job right now.. 2. they feel Sandberg is not ready 3. more importantly...the Cubs will be (AGAIN) rebuilding as they remove or larger contracts expire.. and the Cubs will not be winning for the next 2 -3 years..
14. If the Cubs played better or Lou stayed the entire season? Do the Cubs hire Sandberg or go after Girardi? Thoughts???
15. I guess to some that getting drunk at Wrigley is synonymous with tradition of the 7th inning stretch.. It is just so lame the guest conductors..kinda like a meaingless all star game to decide home field advantage.. play 162 games and that is not enough to earn home field? Wrigley is Disney.... except currently our product sucks...but hey we do have nicer bathrooms!
16. If you are going to get rid of that song.. then PLEASE stop the guest conducting the 7th inning stretch... it had its place..now just play a recording of Harry....
