Yes, you're overreacting, but I share the same concern. His year last year leads me to believe this is the 'new' Pierre. Yes, I'm sure he'll improve, but how much? AND DO NOT RUSH PIE TO THE MAJORS. I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH.

I lurk a lot, but I don't say much. Alou's hissy fit was the turning point. If he keeps his composure, like a veteran is supposed to, the Cubs go to the World Series. He didn't go near that wall in the three years he was with the Cubs, and the one time he decides to, he has a hissy at a fan. Nice, poised, playoff-hardened, World Series experienced veteran play there....NOT! Moises Alou and Alex Gonzalez...the two reasons why the 2003 Cubs did not go to the World Series. And Prior goes blameless for allowing an Alou hissy fit to rattle him? Way to be a pro there Mark....NOT!

No, I'm saying he has had 5 good games (Cubs 4-1), 2 bad games (Cubs 1-1) You are the one saying 5 good+2 bad=terrible start No, he's saying that those games weren't really that good. And Juan Pierre hasn't hit any of the homeruns that are primarily the reason we're scoring so many runs thus far into the season. He's hindered the offense so far, not helped.
