    Clearly you've never heard Mike Shannon call a game. The most irritating thing about him is the utter disrespect of calling Greg Maddux Maddox. He's a turd. I have heard Mike Shannon call many games. I consider that one a foot race.

    Ramirez > Pimentel. I'd rather see them let Ramirez continue to start. Can always shove him to the pen if necessary to get him to Chicago later in the year.

    You can honestly say the top 6 talents in this draft are pitchers. Which is why i really think you'll see the Cubs reverse course, and go best player available and take one vs. reaching (to me anyways) for Turner or Gatewood.

    exactly my response when i heard the news. Parker, while not as good as his ERA indicated in 2013, was actually pretty decent. Amazing that Grimm and Schlitter made the team over him.

    Kyle Hendricks, Ramirez, Jokisch, Beeler, and Rusin (if he gets sent down) is my guess. If Rusin makes the team, Grimm won't. Dont know at that point if they stretch him out or look at Wada/Negrin.

    OK. I'll take Masek (who i think has a much better chance to start) over him then, and I like Balaguert's bat. Then Arias/Geiger/and probably Frazier.

    Yup. He gave up a couple hard hit balls last night, but all in all his stuff looked good. I anticipate he's gonna get the shot to at least mop up initially.
