  1. We let this guy beat us.
  2. ? Maryland #19 Rutgers #25 Nebraska #46 http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/top-public/page+2#
  3. So Purdue and Illinois are 90 miles apart and in different divisions now, makes sense. We pick up schools that are 650 and 750 miles away. edit: I wonder if any of the 'protected rivalry' games will change? Purdue/Illinois would make more sense than Purdue/Iowa.
  4. The money won't even matter for Purdue, the administration already takes a good chunk of the BTN money. They'll probably do the same thing with the new revenue.
  5. I wouldn't mind UNC and Virginia if the ACC teams are up for grabs. That keeps everyone contiguous.
  6. I was thinking they could dump the Kid Pix logo too. Surely some enterprising soul could cleverly fit 14 into a logo. http://chronicle.com/img/photos/biz/BigTen_11-12-13-14-15.jpg
  7. So apparently Kendall Stephens is going to try to play his senior season of basketball with the torn labrum. Can't say I blame him, but man I hope he doesn't hurt himself more.
  8. Why wouldn't they go to the SEC? Maybe the SEC doesn't want them, but it would seem to make more sense geographically.
  9. So in the last 24 hours I've heard rumors that UNC, Virginia, and Georgia Tech could come to the B1G as well. Rumors are fun.
  10. With the money and health issues involved why not have a third party concussion specialist for each team? It's the only issue I can see on the horizon that could destroy the NFL.
  11. I agree. 1 game automatic (unless there's a bye week following the concussion) is a good rule to put in place. It takes away the temptation and guessing games. Although it could make it more tempting to not diagnose the concussion in the first place. I guess it goes hand in hand with having a third party doctor, agreed to by the players and ownership, evaluate the player. Even with that there are going to be situations where the players can and do hide them.
  12. The NFL should just put in an automatic one game sit out rule when a player is officially diagnosed with a consussion. That's probably not enough, but it's something. Or at least do it for players who are on their 2nd+ concussion. ALso, why doesn't Cutler get one of those helmets like Rodgers started wearing after his last concussion? It seems to be working for him.
  13. Rotoworld described him as a mix between Randall Cunningham and Tim Tebow, wtf? That's a pretty wide range of talent there.... I saw him play a couple times in college and he was a great system QB. I haven't watched him play in the NFL yet.
  14. Alex Smith not playing tonight. edit: Per Chris Mortensen

    Corey Graham with a pick.
  18. Or a Pitt chip shot FG That wouldn't bring Stanford down to 1 loss. Ah, I forgot they lost to Washington. I was thinking they were a one loss team for some reason.
  19. How serious is it? Will it affect his draft stock?

    NFL Week 11

Was anyone watching this game? Gronkowski broke his arm 'late' in the 4th Quarter. Karma's a bitch if it was on this drive.

    NFL Week 11

Gotta love the Patriots driving down the field with all their starters, up 30, to score that last TD against the Colts with 4 minutes left.
  24. I didn't realize he coached Bart Scott, that had to be fun.
  25. Dime a dozen?
