Purdue struggling at home against UNC Wilmington. It's going to be a long year.

Within 1-2 years they will be selling kids on returning PSU to glory. They will struggle with depth over the next few years due to the scholarship crunch but they will still keep getting top tier talent. NFL scouts will still watch, they'll still be on national TV, and if the current coaching staff stays they have NFL guys to coach up the players. Athletes from Texas, Florida, California and the delta born in 1997-2000 most likely wont have an appreciation for returning PSU to glory when O'Brien is working on his 2014-2016 hauls. Unless Obrien can work miracles Penn State is going to be pretty bad for the next 3 years. Texas, Florida, California? Have you ever looked at a Penn State roster?

Wisconsin will probably end up at 4-4 in the conference and 7-5 overall, yet has already won its division thanks to Penn State and Ohio State being ineligible. I know the feeling. Not than any team in the B1G is very good this year, but if Wisconsin goes to the Rose Bowl again it could get ugly against a pissed off Oregon team. Oregon won't be going to the Rose Bowl unless Stanford loses to UCLA this weekend. Well, Stanford would kick their ass too, you get my point.

Yep, it's all about getting into the playoffs, and who's hot in the playoffs. It was like the whole team showed up expecting to lose last night without Jay out there. Just godawful flat. Let's not forget this offensive line gave up zero sacks to a very good Houston defensive line last week. We lost by 7, without Jay for a half, to a very good team. Our other loss was on a short week right at the start of the season on the road. Make no mistake, last night was an ass whipping. I'm not ready to kill myself yet though.

I get it. We aren't fixing the OLine next offseason though. It's one of those things where, I will believe it when I see it. Yeah, the OLine is sad and pathetic. Emery can spend all of our draft picks on it as far as I'm concerned.
