  1. Bucky needs to stop running Ball directly into the left guard. Right guard this time. It's not working Bielema you dummy. Try something else. You should be loving this. Every B1G loss by Wisconsin gets Purdue closer to Indy. Oh, I am. I really don't like Bielema. He's a red ass and likes to run up the score when he can.

  4. Kain Colter is fun to watch. Great catches, great runs, throws a little too.
  5. Self apparently signed a 10 year 40M contract extension.
  6. I'm not looking forward to multiple Alabama/LSU games again this year. I hope Oregon can stay undefeated but they'll probably find a way to lose.
  7. Not an Oregon fan? I guess I should say elite. There are a few 'good' teams. Stanford didn't need to lose to UW to prove they aren't elite. They handled USC and USC was supposed to be elite. Then they lost to UW. edit: the point being if a supposed elite team, USC, loses to Stanford... they're not elite. I'm not saying Stanford is/was elite.

  9. haha, is that without the spread?
  10. So Alabama is the only good team in college football this year.
  11. A helmet to helmet is illegal, but I guess clocking someone with a shoulder directly to the helmet is OK. Helmet to helmet is legal if it's a runner with the ball (not considered defenseless). It's defenseless receivers and QBs that get that protection.
  12. Seriously, I saw a link on the right side of ESPN's front page saying that the NHL canceled their preseason schedule. I felt a little bad for not realizing the preseason would've already started.
  13. Wow. Josh Cribbs just got hammered. Knocked out cold.
  14. That was just the last couple years. IL also has double the population of IN and no competition in-state (sorry Northwestern and DePaul). Indiana has Purdue, IU, ND, and to a lesser extent Butler (back-to-back NC games). Other than Zeller, all the 5-Star talent has left the state. Lots of 4-Star talent has stuck around thankfully.
  15. I doubt where you will be playing for his junior year had that much bearing on his decision. I think that he liked Illinois, but not enough to leave home. No getting his brains beat in by UNC and Duke every year was what won him over. Lol, I sure wish we could get the Chicago kids to be as state loyal as the Indiana ones are. You mean like Branden Dawson, Gary Harris, Glen Robinson III, DeShaun Thomas, Marquis Teague...? Lots of 5 Star talent leaveing the state over the last couple years. Oh, and Trey Lyles is going to go to Kentucky. edit: Mitch McGary, Zak Irvin... so yeah, Michigan's whole roster just about...
  16. You mean getting 7.5, well 8 now. I've seen it up to 9 at some points since the lines came out Sunday night. Sure seems like a trap to me too.
  17. If he's thinking about his future he'll be an Illini? What's wrong with ND? ND is going to be in the ACC and Illinois is not an NBA-factory-powerhouse these days. Illinois is a good program, but it's not like he's throwing his life away if he goes to ND. edit: oh and Creepy Crean just offered KBD, lol. What a clown. It sounds like the KBD race is down to Illinois, Michigan, and Purdue. Painter has been in on him for a long time and has an in school visit with him Monday per Purdue's Rivals site.
  18. I got money on Soul. Booze too expensive at the games. Lines too long, too. You can drink some of Sully's moonshine in the parking lot and then roll in hot.
  19. If that is true, that is unbelievable. So poorly communicated peer pressure lost the Packers the game?? Yep watch the replay. He made the wrong call anticipating the other dude and they couldn't overturn it.
  20. They did still give up 9 sacks.
  21. Local TV is in full funeral mode.
  22. 0-3 Saints and 1-2 Packers. Death match.
  23. These magnificent bastards just got me a cover.
  24. Watching it again, the white ref out of the corner of his eye sees the black ref throw his hands straight up to signal stop the clock. I think whitey thought he was signaling touchdown so he threw his hands up in the TD motion. And it stuck.
