I wonder if it could be someone else other than burrell that the cubs are talking to the rays about. They were considering declining Akinori Iwamura's option for next year because of their middle infield depth. If the cubs could get him for bradley + $, I think that could be beneficial for the cubs. Iwamura has a pretty good OBP and a good fielder, although he strikes out alot and doesnt hit for much power. Plus, it could give Kosuke someone to talk to.

nah scales will start in left as usual

Can someone explain why bobby scales keeps starting in LF? Hes a 31 year old rookie who doesn't really have a future with the team. Why not start Jake Fox or Sam Fuld who plays good defense has a good OBP against RHP and see if he can contribute.

why does Fuld not get more starts in LF against RHP? I can understand him not playing against lefties, but he has hit well against RHP and plays good defense
