  1. They stole home on the double steal. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  2. Still haven't even faced the Cardinals yet. Gonna be a long season. This team hasn't faced anyone good yet. Ronnie Paulino? Jesus H Christ.
  3. But of course, you aren't really serious. I'm not? The ideal situation in the next couple of years is Castro moving to 2nd and Lee coming up at SS. Very true. Hopefully the Cubs are thinking the same thing.
  4. There's a difference from wearing a chain and five or six huge gold chains. Just saying.
  5. Decent range. Not a terribly impressive arm (in terms of accuracy). He'll be much better off moving to 2nd. I thought he was supposed to have a terrific arm? Strong, yes. Accurate, not so much.
  6. His arm is almost too strong for his own good. Maybe he should take off all of that horrible jewerly as well. Who didn't know that the error would lead to the run. Congrats Robertson.
  7. Why is Lee still batting 3rd? Until further notice: Theriot Fuku Byrd Soriano Soto Lee Castro Ramirez P
  8. But the key is the approach to hitting those strikes. If he is going to throw outside, you have to be willing to go that way. He gets a lot of movement on his pitches so he is jamming a lot of Cubs hitters. He doesn't throw that hard so I would have the batters move up in the box, but most major league players don't do things like that anymore. Agreed. The guy rarely throws a first pitch strike and the Cubs keep killing themselves by swinging at 2-0.
  9. No one is going to convince me that Leake is a good pitcher. I don't give a crap what he has done so far in his career. It's really simple...wait on strikes and then swing.
  10. I guess it is possible to get no hit by a guy that doesn't even throw strikes.
  11. figured this was coming. guess i don't understand the frustration with people being excited about success. I don't think they shouldn't do it, but it doesn't mean I can't be annoyed when they do. Mainly because they were already winning. You look like an idiot for celebrating like that for adding insurance runs. How bout clapping excessively for stealing a [expletive] base. Look at the guy....a no class, loser.
  12. Gee...how bout you make the [expletive] junk thrower, you know, THROW an actual [expletive] strike. What an embarrassment. Getting beat by the biggest [expletive] tool in the world, Gomes, has to be embarrassing. [expletive] off, pathetic losers.
  13. Tracy is going down to make room. That leaves Baker as the backup to Ramirez at 3B. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/05/castro-likely-to-join-cubs-in-cincinnati.html
  14. Why are you surprised that they would move Theriot? He still starts, and it's not like he's a SS to begin with. No kidding. I don't understand why people are shocked that Theriot would move to 2B? He's never had the arm or range for SS. If anything, the middle infield defense will be more respectable now.
  15. This is a panic move by a horribly run organization. The second panic move of the year by this team and it's not even 50 games into the season.
  16. According to ESPN deportes, Castro is called up:
  17. Hopefully getting swept by Dusty and the Reds next will get Lou fired.
  18. 7-0 Pirates. Stop talking about the division, Len for [expletive] sake. This team is garbage.
  19. Just listen to Bob's voice. I think he'd much rather get kicked in the nuts then watch this crap anymore. Way to throw it, Aramis.
  20. Depends on what kind of baseball you play.
  21. A high pop up to the second baseman for Aramis? No way.
