But of course, you aren't really serious. I'm not? The ideal situation in the next couple of years is Castro moving to 2nd and Lee coming up at SS. Very true. Hopefully the Cubs are thinking the same thing.
Decent range. Not a terribly impressive arm (in terms of accuracy). He'll be much better off moving to 2nd. I thought he was supposed to have a terrific arm? Strong, yes. Accurate, not so much.
His arm is almost too strong for his own good. Maybe he should take off all of that horrible jewerly as well. Who didn't know that the error would lead to the run. Congrats Robertson.
But the key is the approach to hitting those strikes. If he is going to throw outside, you have to be willing to go that way. He gets a lot of movement on his pitches so he is jamming a lot of Cubs hitters. He doesn't throw that hard so I would have the batters move up in the box, but most major league players don't do things like that anymore. Agreed. The guy rarely throws a first pitch strike and the Cubs keep killing themselves by swinging at 2-0.
No one is going to convince me that Leake is a good pitcher. I don't give a crap what he has done so far in his career. It's really simple...wait on strikes and then swing.
figured this was coming. guess i don't understand the frustration with people being excited about success. I don't think they shouldn't do it, but it doesn't mean I can't be annoyed when they do. Mainly because they were already winning. You look like an idiot for celebrating like that for adding insurance runs. How bout clapping excessively for stealing a [expletive] base. Look at the guy....a no class, loser.
Gee...how bout you make the [expletive] junk thrower, you know, THROW an actual [expletive] strike. What an embarrassment. Getting beat by the biggest [expletive] tool in the world, Gomes, has to be embarrassing. [expletive] off, pathetic losers.
Tracy is going down to make room. That leaves Baker as the backup to Ramirez at 3B. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/05/castro-likely-to-join-cubs-in-cincinnati.html
Why are you surprised that they would move Theriot? He still starts, and it's not like he's a SS to begin with. No kidding. I don't understand why people are shocked that Theriot would move to 2B? He's never had the arm or range for SS. If anything, the middle infield defense will be more respectable now.
