  1. Really? I think their all blacks are pretty sweet. Eh. It's better than the purple thing.
  2. Spags hired on Saints DC. Probably a good hire for them.
  3. Well, if Spagnuolo takes over, that will all depend on how much influence Payton gives him over personnel. Spags is big on his guys (not unusual) but a lot of his guys aren't very good. One thing we found out early on is that he doesn't think much of outside linebackers, so unless he's overruled, I wouldn't expect any big names to complement Vilma. His defense requires an aggressive front four since he blitzes in moderation. And somehow, some way he can make due with some very poor cornerbacks. The Rams were literally hauling in guys off the street and they were semi-productive. Al Harris was having a pretty good season and he was 35. I would expect the Saints to be vastly improved in their secondary with Spags. Not necessarily. I don't think Williams has lost his touch and I trust that Fisher would recognize if he had. The Rams have some good pieces in their secondary which makes Gregggg's relentless blitzing more effective.
  4. Their uniforms are borderline Arena League/NFL Europe. Also, too, Joe Flacco.
  5. I think either the Giants or 49ers would be an entertaining match-up for the Patriots. Also, Joe Flacco is the last person I want to see on Super Bowl Sunday.
  6. I hope you're at the computer when ISU goes to the Octagon.
  7. This was probably Baylor's best chance to win at KU. I don't see any obvious games the Jayhawks are going to lose. Maybe at Missouri or the Octagon of Doom, but they own this conference.
  8. I wish Missouri could figure out a way to do this on the road.
  9. I always thought Williams was an overrated DC. The Saints would be scary if they landed Spags. Maybe. I think New Orleans needs to improve their personnel. When you blitz 51 percent of the time and rank in the bottom half in sacks, you probably need better players.
  10. Bad memories of SB35 surfacing.
  11. Eh, they weren't that far from the Falcons and Lions in advanced statistics. I just chalk it up to a team getting hot and catching some breaks.
  12. Baltimore vs. New England, 2 p.m. New York vs. San Francisco, 5:30 p.m. New England favored by 7.5 and San Francisco by 2.5.
  13. Is Suh being on NFL Today some sort of community service type deal?
  14. 0-3 against the spread. I am awful.
  15. I can't wait for a TJ Yates-Alex Smith Super Bowl.
  16. Alex Smith just wins. Bum just wrote "The Catch" and disappeared. Hopefully he's okay.
  17. Matt Pressey: Seen Not Heard
  18. Fisher is going to come after Greggggg Williams.
  19. It was about damn time.
  20. I can't imagine the flogging they'll take from a certain columnist for that one.
  21. I'm cool with it.
  22. http://www.newsmild.com/wp-content/uploads/michele-bachmann.jpg I said general iq, there are always exceptions I dunno, someone who believes the HPV vaccine can make you [expletive] is a pretty big drag on the region as a whole.
  23. http://www.newsmild.com/wp-content/uploads/michele-bachmann.jpg
  24. Save for ethanol subsidies, I can't figure out the difference between Missouri and Iowa.
  25. I'm probably wrong, but Sparano seemed like a decent HC. I'm surprised nobody wanted to give him another shot.
