    The average age in the MWL is 22. Rosario is 21. Why does Rosario get the level of interest he gets? Rosario has great stuff, better than Jensen. He has hit 98 and his slider has good potential. Nice K-rate of 8.09 for every 9 IP (a far more important statistic for a minor league pitcher than ERA) and he gets ground balls. He's obviously still a work in progress. As an aside, while he has a 4.22 ERA, he has a 3.48 FIP. Anndd boom goes the dynamite :-$

    I for one am on the Rizzo bandwagon hardcore, he has the potential to be Adrian Gonzalez lite.

    Garza could clean up in the NL Central this year if Fielder gets dealt. IMO, Garza hits his prime over the next two years.

    I have complete trust in our front office, if we move Garza it will be for an almost overwhelming package of prospects. Garza would then have to be replaced by Wilson, if not, we will definitely be in for a long season.

    So, something in that 10 game sample size makes you think he won't be any good in years 5-6, but fine through 4? It's a lot less risk is all I'm saying. The guy hasn't proven to be a gamer when in postseason competition; that's a big issue with me. It's great if he can get you there, it's not so great if your number one starter can't perform when it counts. He has a 2.95 ERA in the World Series. Looks like he has no trouble performing when it counts. They sure as hell didn't reach the Series because of his pitching.

    If they move Garza, to me that means we are serious contenders for Wilson. Theo can't afford to give up that much pitching talent given the deterioration of Zambrano and the questions at the back end of the rotation. A rotation of Garza, Wilson, Zambrano, Dempster, Cashner/Wells makes for a serious contender in our Division; especially if you add Pujols/Fielder. However, if Theo covets Wilson more than Garza I can definitely see him moving Garza in order to reload our farm system.

    10 GS 1-5 WL 52.1 IP 43 SO 29 BB 4.82 ERA -0.0398 WPA CJ Wilson's Postseason stats, this doesn't warrant a long term six year deal... give him 4 years at 70 million please.
