It's like, I don't want to trade any of them this offseason, because I'd hate to watch them be awesome somewhere else...but we just won't have spots for everyone. The good thing about this is that, if we do trade them, it will be for guys that are equally awesome and happen to pitch or play a different position.

All of these bats, besides Fowler (and Jackson and Denorfia, if they count) are under control for next year, too. It's just an overload of dongs and other assorted awesomeness.

Haha, yeah. Even without the "depth" need I still really like having Jackson around for defense late in games with 2 of Schwarber/Coghlan/Soler likely starting every playoff game. Oh yeah, no doubt. I still like the pick-up. But, at the time, I was thinking of him more as possibly being one of our starters in the playoffs, and if not, at least as a platoon option with Coghlan. Now he is an afterthought, relegated to playing defense for an inning or two.

I mean, seriously, we went out and got Austin Jackson because we thought our depth was lacking -- which it was. And now Javy, Jorge, and Starlin are all mashing. And Rat Boy is healthy and producing.

What I came up with asap CF Fowler RF Soler 1B Rizzo 2B Castro C Montero SS Baez 3B LaStella LF Denorfia CF Jackson LF Schwarber 2B Coghlan 3B Bryant 1B Vogelbach SS Russell RF Szczur C Ross I like this, mostly because I don't see Herrera's name. I was wondering about who I would replace him with: Christian Villanueva, maybe Willson Contreras for Ross? I like the Vogelbach pick. The sides look pretty even, too.

i have no idea the context of the question but maybe they mean a "main" character? was munch a main character? They are counting Fraiser's appearance on "Wings," so that can't be the case. didn't he qualify it as sitcoms? Ah, that could be it.

That Fraiser Crane trivia is so wrong. Richard Belzer's Detective John Munch has appeared on like five or six shows.

Cardinals just had a lead-off double and couldn't get him in. They trail 1-0.

It's too bad he wasn't healthy all year. With so many shortstops on the roster, we are fine with him as the utility infielder, even if he can only play second and third. And he gives us a left-handed bat off the bench, when most of our bench guys are gonna be righties.
