    Vince Velasquez just pitched a complete game shut-out, giving up 3 hits, 0 walks, and striking out 16 (16!). Meanwhile, Ken Giles didn't win the closing job in Houston and currently has a 12.27 ERA, after giving up 3 homers in 3.2 IP.

    Eh, good call, Joe. High-strikeout right-hander, and his best two pitches are his slider and change-up. Good game to give Jorge a day off. Let him come in and dong against their horrible bullpen.

    Javy is 2-3 with a SB. Vogelbach and Almora are both 2-3, also. And Willson is slacking today, at 1-3.

    Raisel Iglesias is good. But he's not so good that Javier Baez would remember his name if they were on the same team. Advantage Cubs. 8-2. 7 walks and 2 dongs.

    Yeah, this is where it gets difficult. A lot probably comes down to personal preference on: Do you like guys that are closer to the majors, with less potential, or do you like guys that are a long way from the majors and have more potential? Hudson and Zagunis are two very different prospects, but I won't fault anyone for preferring one over the other.

    Carlos Carrasco or Sonny Gray. Nothing else is acceptable. And try to find a way to do it without sacrificing Willson, Theo.

    Hopefully Zobrist can keep it up with the solid defense. He looked awful early on. And if we are going to have him for a few years, it would be nice if he can be passable through the end of his contract. If so, dude still has the offensive part down, and he's a steal for what we are paying him.
