I don't know if it is because I am expecting at least somewhat of a breakout offensively, or if it is because he has had quite a few nice ABs so far, but I feel so much more at ease with Russell at the plate this year. Last year, I knew the talent was there, but I never felt great about him stepping to the plate. He just seemed over-matched too much and I had very little faith in him. This year, I am eagerly anticipating his ABs.

OK, time to hope for the best: He's out 3-4 months -- no ACL or MCL or anything else really nasty. Baez and Soler both thrive with their expanded playing time. Soler turns into a dong-mashing beast of the likes of Schwarber. Baez displays himself as an elite super utility guy with major donging tendencies. We cruise to a ten-game lead in the division. And Schwarber comes back after the All-Star break, no worse for the wear, and makes it torturous on Joe to fill out a line-up card every morning.
