You said that as if it's for sure true. I'm not sure it is. Yeah, that's kinda what Kyle was saying earlier in this thread. And he is looking prescient. There is definitely some law of diminishing returns stuff that goes on when you are this good. Why mortgage the future when you are already so damn good? The playoffs are a crap shoot. But it's nice to have the best team you can possibly assemble for it. But we pretty much already do have that. What's another good player gonna do, besides take away a spot from our bevy of existing good players? Some small things here and there to patch things up are fine. Strengthen the pen, maybe. We already have bench bats. An injury could change things. But, we're pretty much set. So, we either make a big splash on a long-term piece or just add a few minor parts here and there.
