  1. Just checking in to say: horsefeathers the Giants. horsefeathers their even year nonsense. And horsefeathers Bumgarner. Long live King Arrieta. And please stop talking about Bumgarner's hitting ability. Jake hits pumps.
  2. Really, it could be anything that sets Bumgarner off, as long as the player isn't white. So Javy just needs to be demonstrative, regardless of what he's doing.
  3. And then pimp it and let the chain flow. Oh, how delighted I would be to see that redneck's reaction.
  4. A Giants/Nats/Indians path would be swell.
  5. Definitely, although the Jays look scary as hell. horsefeathers them.
  6. The Dodgers and Red Sox going home right out of the gate would be pretty funny, considering there were people/maths that thought they could hang with us. It's also pretty nice if the remaining field is a little weaker.
  7. Yep. 15 K's. There won't be a ball hit to the outfield anyway.
  8. Yep, this racist horsefeathers needs knocked down a peg or two. The Logan is the one to do it, too. God-mode Jake returns. 8IP 2H 0R 1BB 13K The Cubs take Bumgarner for six runs and cruise to the sweep.
  9. Holy horsefeathers! https://twitter.com/RFB_WhiteSox/status/784941580264189953 What the hell do you think you are doing winning the game for us!? No high five for you!
  10. Tim will irrationally delete all posts about Trais Woods I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to more: reading Tim's post after Wood's homer or TT's after Pence dropped that ball.
  11. Is there any way for me to quickly delete every post I've made about Travis Wood this year?
  12. Knowing that power is still in there, lurking, is what makes me still have very high hopes for his future. Now that we know the baseline with his defense is "maybe the best in the league," it makes him a safe bet to be a solid player. But, the power -- my goodness, if it emerges. Even if it is coming with a .310 OBP or whatever. We all know what he needs to do to improve, and it's a big task. But an ersatz Minor League Javy with the bat would make for an incredibly valuable player.
  13. (Gonna ignore the fact he called him Kendricks) From McCovey Chronicles commenter. Been reading this from pretty much every opposing team all year. It's better that way. It makes his inevitable domination all the sweeter.
  14. There are now 16 Cubs in the history of the franchise with multiple post-season home runs. 5 of them are on this team. 4 of them are under 25.
  15. I'm trying to follow the logic here. Buster is upset because he thought he hit his farther. And he is also upset that Baez thought he hit his farther, even though Baez's actually went out?
  16. Big start from Jon, too. What a boss. Worth every horsefeathering penny. And a shout out to Grandpa Ross for being his usual badass self. A 1.86 pop time from a 39-year-old... lol.
  17. I really wanted to predict Javy as this year's playoff hero, but I didn't want to jinx anything. I love him so much. And that bat flip...
  18. This one is going to be a blowout. Lots of dongs. Lots of runs. Giants head home down 2-0.
  19. Quoting form the gam thread. http://33.media.tumblr.com/cb12d82f38581a9167377d9e0389064e/tumblr_n9w5pkrpa01smcbm7o1_500.gif
