This game has sort of sucked tonight.

I'm interested to see if the starting rotation keeps us from being able to get out of the .500 neighborhood.

I resent how good the Brewers' lineup has been when I can't really name half their offense. I mean, I can, but you get the point. They have been relentless so far this season. I realize they only have one run, but it's never comfortable.

I really do like the thought of Zobrist batting lead off until Schwarbs figures his stuff out. It only matters once really, but I'd rather have Zobrist and his .350-.360 on-base percentage start our first inning, because it's a great opportunity to score a run with who is behind him. Granted, I'd put Schwarber in the cleanup spot and not No. 2, but still.

Our guys try to make some really highlight kind of plays sometimes on throws that they really shouldn't try. But that's probably every team.

Wood seems to be a bit too nice to Butler.

The Brewers score a lot of first inning runs (and a lot of runs). We give up a lot of first inning runs. That's not good overall for this matchup.

Also a reminder to all the infielders who can't hear me, if a ball is hit on the ground, just make sure you get one out. Don't be a hero.

My buddy (also a buddy of notable poster KingCubsFan) was sitting next to him at a bar in the Toledo airport last night. Flight was extremely delayed so he definitely got to the hotel late. Of note: apparently he was an horsefeathers. you mean the mediocre to terrible pitcher who marks his initial on the mound is an horsefeathers? no way Also, congrats to the buddy for even recognizing or knowing who this dude is when not wearing a uniform with "Garrett" on the back. Even then, 90 percent of people wouldn't know him or his first name.
