  1. Who cares what Milton Bradley has done in his career. I care about this year and Bradley is hitting .184 so far. He's easily one of the top 10 worst hitters in MLB in 2009 so far.
  2. Relax this is a parody of the Milton Bradley thread except less funny. But seriously, Mike Fontenot has been abysmal this month. Doesnt parody suggest more funny? SNL says hi.

  4. We sold key players from a 97 win team last year for a guy hitting below the Mendoza Line. They only "sold" one, and he's having a pretty crappy year himself. This whole offseason was about saving money to throw at Milton Bradley. And while DeRosa is having a crappy year, it's his first year in the American League. Not used to the pitching. This is not Mark DeRosa's first year in the AL. That's right he played in Texas. His first year with Texas: .243 batting average. 2nd year: .296 I doubt Mark puts up these numbers if we bring him back this year.

Not used to the pitching. oh right because they pitch the ball cricket-style in the american league, i can see why that requires a huge adjustment. New pitchers, new parks, etc

  7. yes let's trade him for juan pierre, that guy is raking. i'd rather have a guy who is hitting great RIGHT NOW than a guy who is underperforming and hitting line drives at people. I'd rather have 2006 Juan Pierre at this point than Milton Bradley

  9. Predictions: Fontenot goes hitless Bradley goes hitless Cubs score 1 run Padres win 6-1
  10. Seriously Mike? Only 6 hits in May thus far? Your batting average has dipped below the Mendoza Line (joining Milton Bradley) and has dropped over 50 points this month. Glad we determined that DeRosa was the problem last year and now we have a hole at 2B and RF.
  11. Another hitless night for the 30 million dollar piece of trash. But hey at least he hit the ball hard
  12. check check not so much possible close enough
  13. Well there's Lee to give us false hope. Bradley will K.
  14. they won 6 in a row before this. have some perspective. (okay i know it's not going to happen, i just felt like saying it) Yeah they beat the Houston Astros and the San Diego Padres. We're worldbeaters now.
  15. Some dude named Joe Thurston tripled. Milton Bradley blows.
  16. At this point the Cubs are better off taking an automatic out instead of having Bradley hit.
  17. Hawk: "And we're going to the bottom of the 9th, need 19 to tie"
