    Not sure why this is in NBA playoff thread, but I'll respond to it anyway... Didn't think it was significant enough news to start an NBA off-season thread.... but feel free to do so yourself. And yeah, it's plenty important for players to have agents. Contrary to popular belief, professional athletes aren't experts at finance, accounting, marketing, legal paperwork or negotiations.

    So where does Jeimer move once Bryant is in the system (obviously Bryant gets priority at 3B)? Could he possibly play 2B? Because I assume once Bryant hits the system they are roughly on the same level of the system.

    Question, for all the talk of wanting to get out of the Florida State league for Carolina, why don't we also consider/want a move to the California league? Seems they'd have even safer weather in that league than Carolina and Florida (obviously). Are the facilities worse? I think I've heard that it can be an extreme hitters league, but at least we'd rarely have to worry about guys missing 2-4 games a week to rain. And if it's that extreme of a hitters league, would it be that hard to just keep pitchers that the FO thinks have a real chance at KC a bit longer and make them jump to AA and skip A+ all together?

    I don't think their is a standard rule across the nation, probably more likely to be by state or division/conference within a state. My HS conference switched from the standard metal bats to wood bats the year after I graduated in 2006.

    Cold weather cities, with outdoor stadiums, just aren't a good idea for a superbowl. IMO. It sucks as Chicago would be a great city to hold one in if you take out the weather.

    Yeah last nights MLBN broadcast was full of buffoonery. Just off the top of my head there was; -The W/L comment on Z being justification for why he must not be good -HR comparing every black player drafted with every great black player currently at their position -HR touting every guy as if he's going to be a HOF'er -HR and others thinking these picks (even HS kids) are going to be in MLB in the next year -HR saying Appel will be pitching for Houston by July -HR saying the new moneyball is drafting HS kids -HR saying he prefers cold weather guys to warm weather guys because they play less and thus since they play less their ceiling could be higher or something like that -Basically all the draft pick interviews confirming these guys are a bunch of dub-step loving douchebags -HR not understanding leverage -Bud Selig announcing Fraizer as a 3B and pronouncing Los Angeles as Los Angeleeez -MLB teams sending out reps of Spanish decent who speak very broken English and barely could put a sentence together -and also a senile, circus midget being sent out who's head didn't reach the mics and didn't know when to start talking who also may or may not of been Earl Milford

    If Jones/Serrano are near impossible signs I hope we take Denney, Mitchell or Boldt with the 3rd rounder today.

    MLB actively performing a witch hunt to out PED user's and ostracize anyone who uses tehm.... so it makes sense to bring a former user in to announce a draft pick for the league.
