Has there ever been this much public outcry, or at least discussion, over a team "exploiting" this rule for a player before?

My first run though I have Kentucky over Iowa St, with Villanova and Arizona in the final 4 with them. Biggest upsets are OSU over VCU, Davidson over Iowa, and EWU. Wichita St. at a 7 is my lowest ranked team in the sweet 16, I have all the 1 seeds, 3 of the 3 seeds and 1 of the 2 seeds in the elite 8.

Cubs, Mets and Indians are my sleeper teams this year. Those 3, plus the Marlins are my biggest "sleepers." I think 2 of those 4 make the playoffs

I think the idea is that if the season is shortened the playoffs will be expanded and the contracts from expanded playoff TV contracts will make up for it.
