    Yeah the pace of game really doesn't matter to me. Especially in terms of the importance of wanting to see so many other things done than trying to figure out a way to make the game 10 minutes shorter.

    - Netting extended to past the dugouts down the line - DH in both leagues - Automated strike zone - Expand the roster to 26 or 27 - Move the trade deadline back to the 3rd week of August or so - Allow draft picks to be traded inside the top 20, including day of the draft - Get rid of the Cardinals getting a competitive balance pick - Go back to old draft rules of allowing unlimited budgets/spending - Start researching HGH and other types of PEDs to see if they are safe/have minimal long-term effects and allow them and monitor usage if they are deemed safe (at least for players recovering from injuries/surgeries while they are on the DL) - The play in games include the 2 teams with the worst regular season records, not automatically the 2 WC teams - World Series home field advantage is given to the team with the best regular season record - More strict ruling on take out slides at 2B, idk exactly how to enforce this or what the punishments/fines should be, but need to clean up guys egregiously sliding dirty in to 2B nowhere close to the bag

    Molina doesn't get his cast off until mid-February on his thumb from his second surgery because they fucked it up the first time/it never took whatever they tried to fix and Carlos Martinez says he feels about 90% with his shoulder. I'd be pretty surprised if at least 1 of those guys doesn't miss significant time this year, if not both.

Weird it was only notifying on new posts/threads in the Other Sports forum but whatever.

    I keep getting a notification every time something is posted in the college basketball thread for some reason, not a big deal but it's only happening there every time there's a new post and nowhere else.

    With such a large gap on Arrieta I wonder if that leads to a 2 year contract for him to buyout his arbitration years. I think they should just roll with the arbitration years but like a 2/$25 contract seems about fair for him.

    The Cardinals getting one of Cargo or Blackmon makes a lot of sense. Also another team(s) out on Fowler most likely, Rockies and whoever trades for on of their OF.

    I think the Dodgers will wait until the season to do a big trade to see how the pitchers coming back from injury shake out, but it really looks like they are accumulating assets to do a Gray, Fernandez/Ozuna, one of the Cleveland pitchers trades by the deadline.

    We probably should pick a different offseason than the same one as the Dodgers the next time we decide/are able to go over the IFA budget.

    Damn, I really wanted him. More for the MLB readiness than thinking he will turn out to be anything more than a mid rotation/good bullpen arm, he would've been a really nice depth piece for the year.

    Is that something they could just write into the contract? I want to say you can and its maybe already been done, iirc. If it hasn't been done I see no reason why it couldn't be part of the contact to not be able to exercise/give a QO to a player when he hits FA

    Upton- Orioles Davis- Angels Cespedes- Rangers Fowler- Cubs (we give him a 1 year deal with no QO for next year so he can get his big deal in a better market) Parra-Cardinals Jackson- White Sox

    It will be interesting to see if he gets any ownership interest, like Beane. I wouldn't be surprised if he's given 5-6/35-40.
