yeah, coghlan did nothing wrong. the ball didn't go anywhere and he didn't run. that's the right decision. Well yeah, in a vacuum a runner on 1B probably shouldn't be going for 2B 99% of the time on that ball in the dirt/where it bounced/ended up, but when the runner on 2B goes for 3B he should've taken off on seeing that. -
Huh? He should've been watching the ball and when it hit the dirt looked to see if Almora was gonna go for 3rd. As soon as he saw Almora was going he should've broke for 2B.

When are seal boy and Soler able to come off the DL? Just wondering, I would think at least 1, if not both, could be ready to come off in the 15 day minimum since both seem to have been working out for the past few days before the games.

He has been hitting and Garcia wasn't a good matchup for him tonight. If Fowler or Soler were healthy he may not have started tonight.

Doolittle is the dream because we know Beane seems to favor a quantity-over-quality approach to trades where we can surrender less star power and give up more player control to A's is it crazy to think he might take Candelario, Clifton, Vogelbach? i don't think so I don't think it's crazy to think something roughly like that could get him. Maybe Happ instead of Jeimer if he likes him more. And maybe a ML piece like Szczur depending on how Almora looks and Soler/Fowler are back to full health since there's really nowhere to put Szczur if we want to keep Almora, Coghlan and 3 catchers.
