He's been on a really bad run of late. I think he's struck out in over 50% of his ABs the last 2 weeks Probably has something to do with they let him face non LHPs for a while there. He needs to be protected offensively. -

I'm not sure that one is any better than the other? His right knee would be the leg he pushes off with. I'm glad it's his drive leg. The front leg is more critical to control and velocity than the back leg. Either way surgery sucks. It's not his drive leg..... It is his landing leg

I would imagine there are some pretty big bonuses/incentives in his contract for reaching 700 HRs that the Yankees don't want to pay either?
