  1. I mean I know there’s been some frustrating things but we are still a good 7-12 games better than anyone in the division
  2. I'd be fine with going like 13-8 over the next 21
  3. Looks like there’s a new Vaunted sherif in town http://mlb.mlb.com/images/4/4/8/170686448/040516_angrypiratesfan_med_res_cg8hhobm.gif http://mlb.mlb.com/images/1/0/0/64138100/Piratesfan1_f7zt3h3s.gif
  4. Nice job by Happ to take the walk there
  5. Only bench bat left after Caritini, pitcher spot due up after Javy. Did Seal boy already bat? I tuned out for a little bit Yeah and so did that create a player named dude
  6. I know he has the 2 HRs today but FFS Javy shorten up after the first big hack there
  7. Only bench bat left after Caritini, pitcher spot due up after Javy.
  8. Heyward’s had some horsefeathers calls on the outside corner today
  9. Welp, go get em’ tomorrow. .500 through the first 10 with 9 of them being on the road and no Rizzo for half them and the pitching being mostly good to great. I’ll take it.
  10. Russell just must not see Nova well. Easily his 3 worst plate appearances of the season today
  11. If you don’t swing at pitches 6 inches off the plate you won’t foul balls off yourself, Javy. Remember that please
  12. Good last 2 innings by Chatwood. A little better luck and he probably only gives up 2-3 runs today.
  13. Gerrit Cole did say he didn’t think we were that good a few years back, just took trading his bum ass to actually happen.
  14. We either are going to comeback and win this game or end up losing like 13-4
  15. Is it meatball-ish of me to think that outside of his cannon of an arm that Willson is...kinda terrible behind the plate? I wouldn’t say terrible but he definitely needs work back there in blocking balls and what seems like getting lazy at times and not catching balls. Don’t know what to think, or if anything has ever been reported, of his “game calling” or if he really even has those duties or if it comes from the dugout or pitcher mostly.
  16. He also wasn’t commanding anything great and couldn’t put guys away. Also seemed like him and Willson might have been off on what to call.
  17. Is he getting hit hard? Pat and Ron are making it sound like he's been the victim of awful luck on weak contact. Nothing was hit hard
  18. Seems like a lot of soft contact falling and not spotting good enough to K guys to put them away
  19. It’s damn impressive. What’s the pitch he throws at 87-90? A cutter/change/split/sinker or 2-seam?
  20. No. He did a pop up slide and his foot jumped off the base (back towards second base) for a split second before his other foot hit it and the foot that popped off got back on it. The initial slide/contact with the base got in fairly easily before the tag.
  21. Agree, it should be changed for instances like this. If you reasonably held the bag without just sliding past it or like falling off to the side you should still be safe if you pop off for a second. Same with the home plate thing, if your foot/hand is above it before the tag you should be safe you shouldn't actually need to touch it on a slide.
  22. Hard contact never, soft contact forever!!!
