  1. Bang up job managing the pen this inning, Joe. Going to Randy in a 1 run game is inexcusable and if Ryan was gonna come in anyways/available start the [expletive] inning with him.
  2. Can't wait for the three batter minimum. The 3 batter minimum will at least make Randy unemployable. Silver lining.
  3. Send Squally an Amazon gift card or something Sofa you monster.
  4. horsefeathering dumb ass decision to go to Randy in a 1 run game Joe. You horsefeathering idiot.
  5. I don’t know about this specific scenario (or if you can even find it) but as of like 3 days ago we were top 5-10 in the league in batting average and other factors with RISP.
  6. horsefeathers off Zagunis and Joe. Just let Lester bunt there and trust Zobrist can get a guy in from 3B even if Jon is done for the day.
  7. Unless they want him to hit a reset button and work on stuff I’d assume Zagunis is going down for Russell, if/when he comes up. Though Schwarbs should be in consideration and Almora just needs to go away for anything.
  8. Figure it the horsefeathers out soon, Schwarbs
  9. Yeah I don't get that one. Was it close? Yeah I don’t like that one. It was not close. I thought initially on the steal attempt maybe they had that guy stealing second gets in a rundown to try and have the 3B guy steal home play on, but with Rizzo at 3B that probably wouldn’t have worked. Should’ve just stayed put and let the WPA king do his thing.
  10. Don’t know if the numbers support it, but power wise since he’s been with us he always seems to start slow. Like sure he probably should have a gap or down the line double or 5 by now but it seems like the ball is kinda dead off his bat power wise the first 1.5 months of the year or so in my mind.
  11. I think they definitely are. Amazing that just trying to hit the ball hard will lead to it vs focusing on a direction to hit a ball.
  12. His wRC+ is down to 9
  13. It’s crazy how much the average Cub fan, even ones who follow the team quite a bit, just think Pedro is okay or even not good. He’s been remarkably consistent not only by Cubs but MLB standards since he’s been here. He’s horsefeathering good. So much of it is the hat AKA racism. Yup that’s definitely a big part also he’s blown like 2-4 Espn Sunday night games (multiple vs the Cardinals) so the casual fan who only watches that just thinks he sucks.

If Arrieta never would have thrown a pitch for us, that trade still would have been a good one for Theo. Monty seems like a perfectly fine dude and anyone but that POS Chapman would’ve done, but I really wish Strop could’ve been the guy on the mound to get the final out in 2016. If only he didn’t slide for that ball and tear his meniscus in the last month or two, it could’ve been him out there.
  15. Well that game last night was certainly something, KB hit the ball hard, Javy did Javy things, we went on a Heyride, and Strop closed it out with some of his best stuff of the year. These idiots have somehow already gotten to 2 over .500 after their pathetic start and have the 2nd best run differential in the NL, keep winning and never look back at .500 idiots and sweep these fucks in big dick Jon's return. #WeAreGood

  17. No more meatloaf from Joe per Theo I expect Davis in there tomorrow, day game after night game and then a damn near cross county flight to Arizona after the game to play again Friday. Off days Monday and Thursday next week though so maybe they push it and Willy plays tomorrow (trade or find a back up catcher soon, please, idiots.).
  18. They threw at his head twice last night late in the game up big, idk if anything had happened earlier in the game.
  19. Go get James Pazos, he’s there for free. Cishek shouldn’t be facing lefties in leverage spots like that
