    He's good. He has something like 28 consecutive saves now (which is a franchise record). He's shutdown alot of good teams.

    I personally hope the Brewers get swept by the pirates to force management to do something.

    Brewers continue there homefield disadvantage with a loss to the phillies. This division is really weird so far. The Reds are threatening the cards on first place and the pirates are going to be in 3rd place...

    117 wins? I hope that was sarcasm. The Brewers are streaky. Sure they're on a 7 game winning streak but they'll end up rendering that streak useless with a 5-6 game losing streak later in the season. I wouldnt get too worried, we're a real threat to win the divison yes but we're not exactly going to run away with it like the Cardinals have in the past.

    Standings are worthless right now. Sure I want the Cubs to lose just like you want the Cards to lose as well. However the standings today wont reflect what will happen in September and there should be no bragging rights this early in the season.

    This reminds me of a delay that happened the first year at miller park, the power went out all over the stadium in the middle of a game.

    Milwaukee has a habit of making new "first career start" pitchers look like future cy young winners.

    I would feel bad for the city of Pittsburgh to be forced to deal with such a bad team but they have the Pittsburgh steelers so that kinda cancels it out.

    Brewers gave the reds a new one 15-3.

    Looks like it wasnt just the cubs that are causing the brewers pitching staff troubles. Gallardo gave up a grand slam to Encarcion.

    The Brewers game will probobly get rained out and rescheduled for tomorrow. Theres a 90% of rain in SF.

    As it stands the only arm in the rotation I feel confident about is Gallardo. Cappy hasnt pitched in a year+, Suppan sucks, and Bush is prone on the road. I really really really hope CC will give us a discount of the sort and stay with us.

    So bad calls were made by the ump?? JESUS THAT NEVER HAPPENS IN BASEBALL :-({|= In a regular season game it's one thing but in the playoffs 1 bad call could cost a team the world series.

    And now the pitches CC threw(ruled Balls) are now ruled strikes to Braun.

    If you didnt see on Rollins: On 2-2, 3-2 CC threw 2 strikes and TBS used there strike zone meter too and the ball was within the Strike zone but got called a ball(to make the count 3-2), the CC threw another strike on the right side of the plate that got called a ball(again as the announcers even admit it was a strike).

    WTF is up with this Ump? CC got screwed out cause the ump decides a pitch on the corner of the plate is not a strike? Had this ump not suck, the HR wouldnt have happened.

    Win or lose I dont care. I'm just happy to be able to see meaningful baseball in October for the first time in my life. Personally I dont think the Brewers will advance out of the NLDS but you never know.
