  1. Did not think that would go so far
  2. So the guy who sang the stretch yesterday is an admitted telemarketer.
  3. That Bud Light "he has an axe!" commercial always makes me wonder if they're drinking the beer in the car
  4. And the record is tied.
  5. So Murton, cedeno, and Soto have been the offense so far in an important late Sept game. It's like an alternate reality.
  6. An .800 OPS? Performance for an entire season, not just half? The ability to make a throw all the way to the infield... And, Ewww...gamer... Let of the bait, before I reel you in. :D The inclusion of ramirez and lee after the first 3 was masterful.
  7. Next we can write letters of protest to Sony demanding they put Halo 3 on the playstation.
  8. Looks like the Braves win prob. was less than 10% in the bottom 9th. Awesome. you would tend to lose over 90% of games where you're down by a run with 9 outs in the last inning
  9. well that's a painful loss for the Brewers.
  10. Why did counsel just try to kick a pitch on the fly?
  11. the pitchout (play with the stolen base)?
  12. I noticed... kind of unusual for a national broadcaster. Yeah, I'd figure a national guy (especially given Fox's attitude) would be going on and on about it
  13. To refute this, I'm saying that a player's performance does not shift whether or not there is a base runner on or not. The fact that his numbers are different with runners on is all just a matter of coincidence. A player doesn't suddenly gain better offensive ability (or worse), based on the situation at hand, i just cannot believe that theory. Wait, you actually can't believe that it's possible that there exists a player who performs either better or worse under different levels of pressure? Not just "I don't think the evidence supports it" but "I don't see how there could be a mechanism in place for this to be so" That's tremendously weird. I don't see how it could be possible that every player in baseball could be completely unaffected by differing levels of pressure, personally.
  14. This announcer reallly does not want to say "no-hitter"
  15. that's about as fast as you'll see a ball hit the street.
  16. I can't believe how far ahead of the recording she got
