Ok, who had page 19 of the opening day game thread in the "When will Erik call BALLGAME first" derby? Do you think the Cubs will win this game, IMB? Because if you do I'd like to wager one month of BAN on it. But you're a little man who never backs up anything he says so you won't take me up on it. What does he need to back up? His crazy theory that today's game did not end in the second inning

Counting tonight, the 4/5 seeds are 2-3 in that situation since 1985. That's pretty impressive and a big testament to momentum in the tournament

So my bracket was toast when Kansas lost, but I picked Ohio St and Syracuse to go down now, so I've got some moral victories.

I'm amused that the two statistics on the first page (1/3 and 37 states) are backwards. It's 2/3 (probably a bit below that now) and 13 states. Too much money for too little return.

I'm working very hard to reconcile the first two sentences here. He means that he normally picks the Sweet Sixteen (first two rounds) very well but then fails at getting picks after that. This year he didn't get many Sweet Sixteen teams and isn't in good shape because he normally doesn't pick well after that. Right, if I were to have bet on my picks for the first two rounds over the last 10 years I'd have made a ton of money. If I'd have bet the whole tournament, nothing, or worse. This year, just a disaster start to finish.
