In terms of endowment they are No. 1 in the country. That is according to wikipedia which lists the official PDF as the source and has a link to the official document. michigan is nowhere close to having the largest endowment of any american university. I am basing it on this not sure what the guidelines are for the National Association of College and University Business Affairs. In looking at more than just a quick glance at 2009 MIT in every year that their number was listed had a bigger endowment. harvard's endowment is 25 billion; that blows michigan out of the water. And it was approaching 40 billion not that long ago. Yeah, the guy who let that decline by a third got fired. -

I've been flipping between CNN and NBC since the cross country race was won and I've seen as much sports on CNN as NBC. (and more disaster film on NBC than the station trying to show a tsunami) It's pathetic.
