    His high school coach compares him to Hanley Ramirez...boy do I wish. Sounds like a pro offensive player that can switch to 3B or possibly catcher. Hope he can be a quick sign.

    Good night in Huntsville... 2 for 3 with an RBI for Vitters 3R HR for Clevenger(starting at 1b tonight) Good outing so far for Rusin 4.1 IP, 2H, 0R 0 for 3 for BJax...is it not necessarily a lock any longer that he will be a quick call up to Chicago? I know hes just coming off an injury, but if I remember he was also struggling a bit before his injury. HR's for Bour (14) and Burgess (9) in Charlotte

    I would like to see them find a suitor for Fukudome and platoon Byrd and Colvin in RF. Give Byrd the majority of the AB's, and let Colvin back up the 3 OF spots. They could let Byrd fill in some at CF and have Sori/Byrd/Colvin but the majority of the starts would be Sori/BJax/Byrd. Looks like a good outfield and would def bolster the batting order. Is it assumed BJax would lead off? Jackson, Barney, Castro, and ARam is a good 1st 4.

    Heard this morning on ESPN radio 101.1 in St. Louis that the Jays are asking for Colby Rasmus and other minor league prospects for Halladay. First of all, I cant imagine the Cards being able to take on his contract this year and next. Not to mention, I find it very hard to believe they would want to give up a potential star in Rasmus for 1.5 years out of Halladay.

    Is there any rule/regulation against a team selecting him in the draft this year?

    Will Vitters get any at-bats with the big league squad? Or will he mainly be in the minor league games?

    I dont mind Lee in the 3rd hole and ARam batting 5th. With Lee and Bradley's high OBP, Ramirez would have many more RBI opportunities batting 5th. Get someone with a little speed and good OBP (Fontenot or Theriot) in the 2 hole, Soto 6th, and that would be one helluvah lineup.

    I was in Boston last April and went to Red Sox/Yankees Sunday night game. I actually bought tickets on the street about 2 hours b4 the game for only $60. They were pretty good seats...in the right field grandstands. I took the T (public transportation subway) to and from the game and it was only a $6 round-trip. If you go that route, keep in mind it stops running around 11:30 pm. Be sure to get to the game early, the pre-game atmosphere is a lot of fun!

    I say there's absolutely no way Fuku plays tomorrow. From shots of the bench, it looks like Lou is fed up with him. If Dero can't play RF, then I'm guessing Edmonds in CF and Reed in RF.

    Pie out of the lineup again for Iowa. Hoffpauir with a double, homerun, and 4 RBI's. Dubois is 2 for 2 with a run scored. Iowa is up 7-4, bottom of 5.

    Why is everyone so obsessed with adding more players? What can Jerry Hairston do that someone like Ronny Cedeno cant? IMO any move that is made from here on out will only involve the farm system.
