    This week turned out perfectly for me. I was originally scheduled to work a 5-9 Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. I would've missed games 1 and 3 of the playoffs. However, someone needed me to work for them today and Saturday, so instead of working tomorrow and saturday, I'm working tonight and Saturday morning so I'll be able to watch games 1 and 3 :D I swear, it's a sign.

    Man, I should really, really be pumped up for this game, but I'm not. I won't be until tomorrow after school. But then again, I don't get excited for Chirstmas until the night of the 24th. I wish I would've been a Cubs fan longer since 2004 (although I got to miss 2003).

    I was going to add something along the lines of "If we win." Also, a kid at school who is a Mets fan (moment of silence, please) said he's going to root for the Cubs. Awesome.

    Nope. I wouldn't call the Cubs in the playoffs this year "fun." Exciting, very nerveracking, yes. Fun, no.

    This will probably get me flamed, but I'm rooting for you guys in the NLDS. A Cubs/Brewers NLCS would be epic. It really would be. It would be fitting. I cant even think about that right now. I cant belive I was crying like a baby. I just listened to Pat Hughes home run call on Brauns homer and he had a little excitement to the call which was really cool to hear. I probably won't cry unless the Cubs make it or win the WS, but if you're a lifelong Brewers fan who hasn't made the playoffs in 20some years, it must be emotional. Congrats, and thanks for being a great poster. I'd love it if you'd stick around for the NLDS. Also, Cubs-Brewers is the new Yankees-Red Sox.

    Well, here we are everyone. 162 games done, and if the Mets game holds up, we will be playing the Dodgers in the first round. It is entirely possible that in a week, everything that this whole season could have been for nothing. I am very nervous and excited for the playoffs to start.
