    Ok. So whats the over/under on Maddux surrendering a hit to Mulder and then giving up a 2-run dong, to Eckstein, to give StL the lead back in the top of the 3rd?? (sorry for all the cynicism, but at this point, its hard to look at it any other way)

    (OT - someone help PLEASE!!) Why does my browser close down when I open up threads on these boards sometimes? It was bad enough when it was threads started by other people, but its doing this to me now with the last 3 threads I started! (2 in rants and 1 in bball discussions) I'd go and read the replies I would get iover on the rant board to this same question I posted over there, but seeing as how it shuts down my browser(s) - both Mozilla Firefox & IE - I can't read the thread.

I still wish the lineup was more like this; CF Rusch SS Maddux (sac-bunt specialist) 1B Wood 3B Prior RF Ohman LF Batboy 2B Dempster C Zambrano (so he can yap at the Cards' hitters) P Macias (Mr Do-It-All!)

    We're gonna win today just simply because the law of averages say we're going to win at least ONE game this week. I predict a 5-4 win, with the Cubs needing to rally in the 9th to do it..... therefore being gassed mentally and physically, thus losing 7-1 to StL tomorrow afternoon.

    Watching the current losing streak-crap from the Cubs is like rewatching the whole Kenny Rogers-attacks-cameraman incident, over and over and over again. You feel extremely embarrassed for all parties involved, but you feel like Kenny Rogers/Cubs got/are getting what they deserved for doing what they did/are doing. Suspension for Rogers = Losing for Cubs
