    Maddux/Barrett combination throws somebody out!?!?!? Are we in an alternate timeline here? Who flipped the switch from reality to dream world!??!?!! All these things are happening to/for the Cubs today that is just not normal. Pretty scary and wonderful, at the same time.

    I'll feel better if the Cubs happened to sweep the Cards in this series, but I wouldn't get optimistic unless we strung some amazing win streak together - like the 15 games back in 2001. That, or it's a 3-game deficit in the WC for us with a series vs. Houston. Agreed. 1 game does not a season make. Its gonna take alot more than one game to change my thinking of this team around, even if we do happen to win 21-3.
