I guess this is what I deserve for letting myself get sucked back in, even for just a little bit.......... the Cubs hate me and love putting the dagger in my heart. And even worse, they'll come back and hit around on both Pettitte and Oswalt, taking 2 of 3, thus re-getting my hopes up slightly again.......... this rollercoaster ride known as the "Chicago Cubs, 2005 season" sucks.

No more runs tonight unless someone gets a cheap HR in the last part of the order. Because unless DLee either HRs or XBHs, Ramirez is gonna GIDP the beginning of the inning again in the top8.

If I'm Robert Morris College, I'm PO'd!! They come out of that great bot.5 with "this half inning is brought to you by RMC." I'd be sitting at home with a sack over my head if I'm a student/faculty at RMC. YES!!!!!! Burnitz is the best!!!!!! 0-3 and 3 EASY outs!!!!

How many times did the Astros recycle their lineup that inning? 2.5? Damn, I think the bottom of the 5th started at 8p CST and its now going on 9p.

Wellemeyer in a Cubs uni is same as Farnsworth was in a Cubs uni... small flashes of brilliance (and big heat), but more often than not, can't throw strikes+gives up lots of hits.

Game. (and probly season) Bottom 5 and still 4 more times AB coming, but the pitching sucks, so don't matter.

This is what I can't stand about Aramis when he's not "on". When he's hitting the HRs and long hits/2Bs, its great to watch... but when he's swinging for HRs on those pitches that are low and outside... nothing is more aggravating to watch - either him popping it up or weakly grounding out!

Ramirez has really rally-killed 2 innings now. I know, I know... "how can you rally-kill an inning with just a GIDP when no real string of hits before it or runs scored?", but Lee leads off with either a walk or hit, and its 2 outs almost autmatically. ARGH!!!!
